1). Participants have ten days from the day they were contacted to respond.
2). Response is a simple yes I will participate and your name emailed to star@themanuelfund.org.
3). Participants should consult their parent/gaurdian and any college they may be attending before accepting.
4). All players will need a sponsor
Sponsorship is a $150.00 Donation to The Manuel Fund
Must be in the form of a money order or cashier check
You will receive 6 game tickets, game jersey and a t-shirt
No player will be turned away for lack of sponsorship.
Players without sponsorship will recieve two complimetary tickets to the game
5). Participants paper work is do April 23, 2010 and can be found on the forms page or at themanuelfund.org
6). Insurance liability waiver has to be signed by hand and mailed to

Unfortunately themanuelfund.org website is not up, but is under construction. The coach nomination process will be over on the 23rd of Feb and the selection process will begin.
Coaches can email player nominations to star@themanuelfund.org. We have contacted some 60 coaches out of 69 and have 24 coach responses.
Do to time constraints, after the 23rd, we will move on.
The Game will be played on one of three days to be decided later.
The Dates are June 24, 25 or 26(Thursday, Friday, Saturday First two weeks after school lets out)

The beauty of high school sports is it's staunch unpredictability. Week in and week out you never know what is going to happen. Seeing young people deal with the adversity that comes from the havoc of Friday nights is what makes it so exciting and a joy to watch.
This website is my hobby. My hobby is based on my passion. Football and athletics are a microcosm of life. I believe high school athletics are one of the best tools outside of parenting for helping young people deal with adverse situations. Sports expose young kids to adversity in a controlled situation. Athletics help prepare young people for the the highs and lows associated with real life. It is not something a young person can get inside a classroom.
The revitalization of NCS football in the past 5 years is exiting to see. In my twenty years around NCS football it is good to see a return to the compete nature of the mid 80's to late nineties. This new energy and enthusiasm is what has inspired this sight.
